Dental prosthetics

Prosthetics can be partial—restoring one or several missing teeth—or full, replacing an entire dental arch with individual crowns or a bridge. In cases of total tooth loss (edentulism), either fixed implant-supported prosthetics or removable dentures are used. When restoring a full arch on implants, dental implants are surgically placed into the jawbone and loaded with a fixed prosthesis within 5–7 days after the procedure.
